Variation To Premises Licence
A premises licence variation occurs when a business owner requires adjustments to the operation of their business.
After obtaining a premises licence, you may find it necessary to make alterations, which can be done through a variation application. There are two types of variations:

A Major Variation:
To a premises licence is necessary if a business owner intends to extend alcohol serving hours or expand the premises. The application procedure mirrors that of applying for a new premises licence, including a 28-day processing period and mandatory local advertising.

A Minor Variation
A minor variation entails a streamlined process for amending a premises licence, involving changes that pose no risk and are non-controversial. Examples include alterations to the internal layout or the addition of agreed-upon conditions with authorities.
